Our top 10 Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where do you live and how far will you travel?
A. We’re currently operating in Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, GA, and therefore do not require travel fees for weddings in these two cities. We’ve been all over the world to take photos, so we are very comfortable with traveling for business. Travel outside of the metro areas of Orlando and Atlanta will require a fee that only equates to any needed hotel accommodations, flight, or car/gas, if needed. We are happy to provide itemized receipts for total transparency.
Q: How long will it take for me to get my photos?
A. Within 48 hours of the wedding, you can expect to receive 12-15 sneak peek photos to share among your family, friends, and guests. The remaining photos can be expected in 10-12 weeks.
Q: How many photographers will be there on the day of my wedding?
A. We typically have anywhere from 2 to 4 photographers on the day of the wedding, depending on the foreseen need.
Q: How many photos can I expect to receive? Do you really edit all of the photos?
A. You can expect to receive all of the photos that pass our quality control check, which excludes duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. Every image passing this quality check is then taken into post production with our unique signature style. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. Many photographers will not post produce any images, or will only post produce “select” images from your wedding. This means that you may have pictures that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws. We, on the other hand, ensure that all your photos enter our post-production phase and are perfect when they’re ready for you.
Q: What is your photography style?
Q: Do you have insurance?
A. Yes, we do! If your venue requires this, we are happy to provide our insurance documentation.
Q: Is there a style or quality difference among the photographers?
A. No. We take every measure to ensure consistent style and quality among our photographers. We have developed the unique style you see in our work over the years. Each shoot is reviewed to ensure our quality and style are consistent. All mistakes, no matter how minor, are scrutinized by the team. We trust that the quality and style of photography you receive will be consistent. However, we do tailor our shooting style and techniques to our client requests. For example, some clients may prefer a light and airy look while others may prefer dramatic lighting and shadows.
Q. Is your business insured to cover any potential damages or accidents at my venue?
A. Yes, my business is insured for any property damages that might occur from my services while on wedding venue. I do use professional lights, light stands and electrical cords which might cause any damage, so that’s why my business is insured against any damages which these might cause.
Q. Do you provide a partial wedding day coverage?
A. We do provide different wedding packages with different durations. We understand that not all weddings are planned to be equal so we provide the flexibility for you to book different wedding photography packages and receive the coverage you are looking for.
Q. How many hours should I plan for each part of my wedding day for pictures?
A: We have general guidelines on how much time is needed to capture images during each part of your wedding day in this article: When To Capture The Most Breathtaking Wedding Photos. The time depends on how long your wedding day would be, if you plan to have every stage of the wedding photographed or not, the time you would like to book our services for, etc. The article I mentioned would give you a good general understanding on what each phase includes and how long it usually takes. Please, have your wedding day scheduled for the pre-wedding consultation and we will discuss this in detail. Whatever you decide, it’s always good to have buffer time to avoid rushing from location to location or from setup to setup to make up the schedule. You need to feel relaxed and enjoy your day and your images would look much better if you are not under constant time constraints to cram the photography part.
